I am Professor at Saarland University and lead the System Security research group. From 2014 until 2016, I was an Independent Research Group leader at the Cluster of Excellence MMCI at Saarland University. Before, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the VU Amsterdam (Herbert Bos) and the Ruhr University Bochum (Thorsten Holz). Before my postdoctoral stays, I worked at the Institute for Internet Security if(is) in Gelsenkirchen, Germany and obtained my PhD degree from the VU Amsterdam in April 2013. My primary research centers on in these areas:
