Report - Finished MSc studies
Studies
The last months were quite busy. I had to finish my last courses and to write my thesis, but now everything is finished. I was graduated cum laude and am now officially a Master of Science in Computer Science. From February to June 2009 I wrote my Master thesis titled 'Self-adaptation in Divide & Conquer Systems' under supervision of Frank Seinstra and Jason Maassen. Grab your copy here. It was great fun and we are trying to make a journal paper out of the results now. Thanks, Frank and Jason, for your great support! But then: bye bye, Amsterdam.
Holidays
In July, to relax from my hard studies, I enjoyed my last long holidays. Most of the time was spent for a new flat and for organizing car, though. In the end I went to Southern Spain and Portugal to actually relax a while. Time was flying.
And now?
My new home is in Dinslaken, Germany. As of September 2009, I am working at the Institute for Internet Security at the University of Applied Sciences in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. I plan to start a PhD carreer at the VU Amsterdam, also. Let's see how things will arrange in the future :)
